I live in the village of Upper Poppleton, approximately 4 miles from York city centre.

My address is 69 Station Road, Upper Poppleton, York YO26 6PZ.

By car

If travelling from York, follow signs for A59 Harrogate.  Immediately after crossing the ring road, you will see Poppleton Garden Centre (formerly Wyevale) on the left.  Turn first right onto Station Road.  My house is about 200 yards along the road, opposite the level crossing sign.

If travelling from Harrogate, take the A59 for York.  Watch out for the Red Lion.  After the Red Lion take the second left onto Station Road, which is opposite Poppleton Garden Centre (formerly Wyevale).  My house is approximately 200 yards from the A59, opposite the level crossing sign.

By bus

The First York bus No.10/10A service (Claret Line) runs from Stamford Bridge to Poppleton via Dunnington, Hull Road, Piccadilly, York railway station and Holgate. The nearest bus stop to my house (Long Ridge Lane) is about 5-10 minutes' walk away.

By rail

Poppleton station (for trains to Leeds, Harrogate and York) is approximately 150 yards away.
